Adrien Tucker - CO-DIRECTOR
I am Adrien! A dance maker based in Naarm, I am a co-director of INTERCONNECT alongside my beautiful wife Gabbie! INTERCONNECT has been something we have been working on for a long time and finding the best way for it to exist in the world and what it can provide for the community. We have big dreams for this organisation and aim to be a platform for artists emerging and experienced. We feel there needs to be more platforms for artists to share works on all levels and scales and we are hoping to create that within a safe environment where we will support you all through the process. There’s something extremely valuable about having the support of someone when you are presenting, making, and sharing work and we want to be a supportive anchor that allows you to focus on the creative aspects of the work and we will take care of the other stresses! Personally, I have been living in and making in Melbourne over the last 7 years. I have self-produced a variety of shows The Unlearning 2022 and 2023, Material Bodies 2022, Responsive Relations 2018, The New World 2019 and most recently nominated for a Green Room award for best performer in the 2023 season of the Unlearning at Dancehouse. I am excited at the prospect of what INTERCONNECT can become for the arts community and will see you at our first event hopefully!!

Gabrielle Tucker - CO-DIRECTOR
Hi my name is Gabbie and I am co-director of INTERCONNECT. Adrien and I have been working towards using this platform as a space for artists and our values to be shared with the wider community. We are extremely passionate about giving a platform to artists and create a likeminded community who support eachother and curate nights of live performance. I trained in contemporary and classical ballet working with amazing Australian choreographers and mentors which has led me to spend a lot of my time being an educator to younger dancers around Melbourne. Nourishing their dance journey and providing a safe and welcoming space for dancers to find their passion. Also in my spare time, I am a Veterinary Nurse and an animal mum to many. I am very excited to be presenting this first event as INTERCONNECT and really look forward to what else we can bring to the table through this format.
