Alec Katsourakis - Film Maker

Alec Katsourakis is a Naarm/Melbourne-based dancer, choreographer and dance filmmaker whose practice sits at the intersection of movement and screen. Drawing on experience across live performance, choreography and video design, Alec creates dynamic, movement-led film content with a strong sensitivity to rhythm, embodiment and atmosphere. His approach combines an artist’s eye with practical production skills, specialising in capturing dance and physical practice in ways that feel cinematic, engaging and true to the lived experience of movement. Having worked across live performance, dance film and collaborative creative projects, Alec brings a considered, playful and highly adaptable approach to in-house videography.
